Getting an NHS dentist, honestly

Most practices aren't taking new NHS adults. We show which are, from the NHS website, and what to do if none near you are.

  • You don't register with a dentist like a GP: any NHS practice in England can see you.
  • Many more practices take children than adults.
  • In pain? NHS 111 can book urgent NHS dental care.
