About I Like My Smile

I Like My Smile serves patients across the North East, with dental surgeries in areas including Newcastle and Northumberland, and patients and referring dentists throughout the region. In Ashington, the practice supports people who may feel anxious about dental visits, with the team understanding patients’ worries and doing their best to help reduce them. The practice also provides urgent and emergency dental care, covering issues such as dental and soft-tissue infections without a systemic effect, severe dental and facial pain, fractured teeth or teeth with pulpal exposure, and dental emergencies including trauma with facial/oral laceration or dentoalveolar injuries. They also mention care for oro-facial swelling that is significant and worsening, post-extraction bleeding that cannot be controlled with local measures, and severe trismus. As part of its COVID-19 update (July 2022), I Like My Smile says it follows recommended advice on social distancing, self isolation and cross infection control. It notes that it is open to see existing patients who do not show signs of raised temperature for new persistent cough and new patients with urgent and emergency dental problems, and asks patients to arrive 10 minutes early and complete medical history updates and documents online before their appointment.
