Victoria Dental Practice in Southsea offers a family-run, independent approach to private dentistry in the heart of Southsea, close to Elm Grove, Albert Road and Palmerston Road. The practice has been established for over 50 years and is led by Drs Elizabeth and Sophie Allcock, with care delivered in a relaxed and friendly environment. Patients can choose private care on a “Pay as You Go” basis or join Denplan Essentials, which supports monthly instalments for examinations and hygiene appointments and includes a 10% reduction on treatment costs. Denplan Essentials also includes built-in insurance for emergency treatment anywhere in the world. Children under 18 are seen on the NHS when space is available, and the practice provides treatment options including tooth whitening, veneers and bonded porcelain crowns, along with other cosmetic work. An in-house hygienist is available, and while there is no orthodontist on site, referrals can be made to an excellent local orthodontist a few doors away. The practice also notes that many patients arrive feeling fearful and may require emergency treatment on their first appointment, with a gentle service aimed at helping them feel comfortable for future visits.
