Westmead Dental Practice provides family-based general dentistry in Sutton, supporting patients in and around Sutton, Carshalton and Surrey. The practice focuses on preventative strategies alongside contemporary treatments, with routine check-ups and prevention at the centre of its approach for patients of every age. Treatment options include fillings, root treatments, dentures and extractions, alongside cosmetic dentistry to enhance the colour and shape of teeth, including whitening. The practice also offers Invisalign clear braces and orthodontic treatment, as well as oral surgery interests including root canal therapy. The team is led by practice owner and principal dentist John Clarke, who joined in March 1988 and has particular interests in oral surgery, orthodontics, cosmetic adhesive dentistry and root canal therapy. Support roles include Charlotte H, who works in an administrative capacity dealing with clinical governance, and Sian Fitz-Patrick as lead DCP, managing decontamination protocol and record taking, while Ellie McCoy serves as receptionist and qualified DCP with responsibility for the appointments diary. COVID re-opening hours include Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 5pm, with Thursday shortened to 12.30pm, and the practice closed on Saturday and Sunday.
